10 year old wetting during day and night

It is a step grandson we are raising he has only stopped wetting for several weeks at a time. This past august he went 2 1/2 weeks and then my husband and brother - in - law were here all weekend and nothing I do with him is right when the brother in law is around ( he has no kids) and so my husband contradicted me on everything and my brother in law babied him and he has been wetting again daily.

I have raised him on and off (due to parents not able to and now we intend to adopt him) since he was 11 months old. I am just at my wits end and doctors say there is no medical reason for it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
