54 Year Old Woman!

by CTumlin
(Charlotte, NC)

It all makes sense now....50 some odd years later. Wish my parents had known some of this back in the '50s and '60s. I had a terrible time with math....barely passed algebra because I just couldn't figure it out. I have dyslexia and vestibular dysfunction...never knew they were interconnected. Still can't ride a bicycle, will get car sick one day and be fine the next. Can't sit on a moving swing! Can't ride anything at the county fair. Can't fly in a plane (that's the worst). I have horrible vertigo from time to time and the doctors haven't found anything yet that helps.

For those who have these problems, keep working at it. You'll find something that helps you "figure it out" as you go along. Most people don't have any idea that I have issues (until I have to tell them I can't fly). Good luck to all!
