When handling a child with SPD always speak in a soft voice and remain real calm!!!

It will slow him down and he will come out of his tantrum ....touch to him is very very sensitive so little by little run different cloths, silk, towels, furry across his body always remembering to make it fun....the more you touch him the less sensitive he will be....mine hated to brush his hair, touch his face touch his ears....work on each slowly with love and kindness and the response will be goooood!!!!! patience and lotttts of mommie huggs they need those huggs for deep pressure and it releases endorphins into the body!!!!
