Best Book EVER on Sensory Processing Disorder!

by Donna
(MA)

By far the best book I have read for parents and families of a child with Sensory Processing Disorder is "Parenting a Child with Sensory Processing Disorder" by Christopher R. Auer, M.A. and Susan L. Blumberg, PH.D. They write it from personal perspective, since they both have children with this issue. This book is the most helpful sensitive book I have read. They really understand how the whole family is affected. They give advise and helpful suggestions for how to handle it. Most of all, they understand what you're going through. I cried many times while reading it because, finally, someone knew just what I was experiencing; someone understood. I hope it helps others to know and read this great book!
