Body temperature concerns

Our son has Charge syndrome and with that comes SPD. One of are many concerns that we would like help with is, he has body temperature control issues. The only way I can describe it is, if you were stuck out in the cold your body would start shutting off circulation to your outer extremities to keep your core warm. Your body knows what it needs to do in different situations.

With our son , it seems his body is sending the wrong signals. When it is warm he wants to wear heavy clothing and his hands and feet are cold. When it is cold he wants to wear shorts and short sleeve shirts. Just wanted to know if anyone else has this same issue.
