Brett's Mom

My son is 6 years old and has been a picky eater for as long as I can remember. His diet consists of anything he can dip in cheese or ranch dressing, breadsticks, pretzels, cold cereal, pop tarts, etc. I've begged, pleaded, bargained, and everything else you can think of. you name it, we've tried it. It gets frustrating and the doctors always said, he'll eat when he's hungry.

I have found Fruitables which is a kids juice box that has a serving of vegetables and fruit in each juice box. Del Monte also has fruit freezer pops that have real fruit in them. Pedia-Sure Sidekicks has a nutritional drink in chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, banana & berry. My son loves them and when I can't get him to eat much, he lives on them. I would suggest these to anyone with a picky eater to help give nutritional value to your picky eaters diet.I still struggle daily with trying to find different foods to eat and could definitely use some help.

Green Smoothies
by: Anonymous

My child has texture issues with food...so he refuses to eat any kind of greens. About a year ago, I decided to try giving him smoothies with greens in them. It has worked beautifully! I put in milk, two bananas, frozen fruit, and a handful of kale or spinach. He drinks this every single morning...and wouldn't touch any one of those foods on its own. Just a note...this works best with a high powered blender like a Vitamix.
