Brushing

I have a five year old boy that I recently started the brushing and deep pressure on...the parents are very involved and are brushing every hour and a half followed by the deep pressure. He is also on a sensory diet during the day at school and at home. The question/concern I have is that he gets VERY sleepy. After the first week, I stopped the brushing. I want to start up again but I want to decrease the amount of brushing he gets. Has anyone seen this reaction?

Hi,
my son will calm down immediately...

I say get him more active physically.
sid kids need it.
Special Olympics or something....

brushing should be used in situations that arouse his senses not otherwise....I believe...

good luck,
