Can a child grow out of this?

So my son is now 6. He has quite a few of these symptoms. Scattered across a bunch of areas (sensitivity to light, always is cold, terribly dry skin that is excessively itchy, overreacts to slight injuries etc) but he had many more when he was younger (refused to put weight on his legs, slow walker, didn't like to be held, wiped off kisses etc.). Is it possible for children to grow out of this?

He was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech at age 3 and after 3 years of intensive speech therapy he is doing extremely well. I have heard that the two conditions can coexist. does anyone else have experience with this?
