Can Star help my 7 year old daughter with her sensory disorder?

by Michele
(Maricopa, AZ)

We live in AZ at this time and am finding it difficult to find help for my daughter who is 7. She seems to get better with some issues and then she turns around and goes backwards. I am looking for some feedback on how people feel about Stars? What kind of treatments do they offer and how long does it usually take. I am willing to go to CO for her help.

Thank you,
Michele

Stars? NEW
by: Fish

What does stars have to do with her condition?
Does she seek walking backwards? How about spinning (sitting in a chair, upside down, sit in spin, swinging, jumps like a frog)?
Have you watched a movie called "Martin" it is about a young boy who has a gravity issue and so on. Good movie.

Does she like Yoga? My child wraps her legs around each other like a snake and squeezes together. This seems to calm them down. It is a yoga position too.
How about Brain Gym it is used at school and is an excellent program. Look it up on the computer Brain Gym.com

We purchase a Jump Start that she can jump on and plays games on the mini trampoline. Works the auditory / gross motor/ proprioception.
We are here to help.
