Clenched Fists

My 2 1/2 yr old daughter is constantly clenching her fists..to hold things like her cups to pick things up and just in general..it's a big part of the day but not all day long..when i see her doing this i ask her to open her fists and 8 times out of 10 she wont...she refuses..is there something wrong with her..should i be concerned?
