Clonazepam tolerance?

I've been on clonazepam since Sep 2008 to control my anxiety and keep me from freaking out or melting down when I get overwhelmed... However, lately it doesn't seem to be helping quite as much as it used to. Is it possible to develop a tolerance to this medication?

It is a benzodiazepine

benzodiazepines are prone to cause tolerance, physical dependence and upon cessation of use, a withdrawal syndrome
In general, short-term therapy is more effective than long-term therapy with clonazepam. I personaly take clonazepam this is My first month
Very effective medication i hope i dont get tolerant if you feel it is not working how it should talk to your doctor to try a new medication do not stop cold turkey. It can be very dangerous talk to your doctor
