Does anyone have twins?

by Laura
(San Ramon, CA)

Hi,

I have twin 8 year old girls. Hannah has SPD & ADHD and Emma has mild SPD and dyslexia. They both have IEPs and receive OT, reading, and speech services. Some days I am just so overwhelmed.

Hannah had her first symptom at 6 months when she started bouncing for hours at a time (she still does this.) Emma didn't show any symptoms until she started kindergarten. She obsesses and has lots of anxiety. Their symptoms are so different.

Does anyone else have twins out there?

I Have Twins Too
by: Anonymous

I have four year old twin boys. One has severe SPD. He started exhibiting signs at 3 months with muscle rigidity and light sensitivity. His brother shows no signs but has SEVERE allergies and ear problems. The boys are very different and yet they are the best of friends!! Every day is an adventure in our house as the twins are our youngest of five kiddos!!
