Faulty processing system

by ann malecki
(Whitehouse Station, NJ USA)

I have a 46 year old son who is compulsive and does not want to be touched. When I kiss him he thinks I am biting him, when I hug him he thinks I am choking him. He was not like this in his early stage of lunch, over time this behavior just cropped up.

I no longer can take him to a dentist, barber, blood work; years ago it was not a problem. No one can seem to tell me what the problem is. Jim is also anti-social; he likes being among people but does not participate. Is this a sensory problem or something else?
