Had Suspicions

Adrian

I have had suspicions for awhile now about my son, who is 3. He will complain of being hungry and only eat 2 bites of the food, and truly prefers fresh fruits and veggies over anything else. He is kind hearted and polite, until you put him in a group of 4 or more kids. He will hit, bite, and become angry easily. Dinner time and daycare are tantrum prone, unhappy times for him.

I always worry about taking him in public, because I never know when it will be too much for him. Yet at the same time he wants to CONSTANTLY be touching me, holding me, laying on me. I plan on scheduling a doctors appointment, to see if I'm right. Thank you for this list, and everyone elses stories. Hopefully I can get him the help he needs.

evaluation

I think you need to conduct an evaluation specialist to your child. SPD is different in every child, but you can see where the behavior deserves attention. I wish you better days.
