My son does the same thing. when he is frustrated, thinks he is in trouble, and sometimes just because. I have talked to his doctor about it, and they seem to think there is nothing unnormal about it. If you are deeply concerned the best thing to do is bring it up to your daughter's pediatrician. Be aggressive if you think she need more than what her doctor is doing for her.
