Is it wise to start my 6yr old SPD son sharing a room with his 3yr old brother?

Is it wise to start my 6yr old SPD son on sharing a room with his 3yr old brother? They seem to get into trouble and have to be split up each time we try. Can my 6yr SPD son self regulate so he can tell his 3 yr old brother to behave?

Thanks
Sarah

Room Sharing

We have found that having my SPD daughter share a room with a distracting sibling really makes her symptoms worse. It is vital that kids in general (and SPD kids especially) get enough sleep! I have found that if we are vigilant about protecting her sleep her behavior/ability to cope with the sensory input around her greatly improves.
