Is not listening apart of the disorder or can it be treated as a behavioral issue?

Our son is 4 and appears to not be listening. He has auditory issues that we work on in OT. So yes not listening can be a part of SPD, primarily auditory.

I'm convinced that for many symptoms of SPD are actually autistic spectrum disorders. cause behavior as atypical and not found in children with normal development myself. I hope that research will help us to understand and help these unfortunate children.
