LOUD VOICES/NOISES

I am almost 50 years old and just realizing in the last few years that I have SPD. People with loud voices set me off. The funny thing is I have been married for 32 years to a man who is very loud. So it has always been an issue with us. Now I can take a print out of this and show him it's not just me.

My 17 year old daughter also has SPD. She and I both have issues with food. We can't eat spicy food and hate the smell of it. My husband does not get it. He loves spicy food, talking a lot and loudly. The total opposite of us. I have ordered the book, " Too Loud, Too Bright, Too Fast". I will let you know how we like the book and if it helps us.
