I have a son age 4, he has Autism, first he was diagnosed with a developmental delay and sensory dysregulation. Now I have an 18 month old who is showing signs of sensory disorder. I have kept a close eye on him due to the fact his brother has asd. I noticed as an infant but more so now he licks the floor all the time. He will lick puddles outside the kitchen floor the tube etc. He also will put anything in his mouth chew it and sometimes eat it. He puts his mouth on the window sil and shopping carts. Also he never likes to have a blanket on him and is constantly taking off his shoes. He love to smell my laundry when I take it out of the washer. After reading the signs on this site I realize that I will have to have him evaluated too.
