Mother

I put one tablespoon of a disliked food on a full size dinner plate and put it next to my son without saying anything while he is hungry and watching a TV show of his choice. I "disappear" into the kitchen and wait 10 - 15 minutes before bringing the rest of the meal. He usually touches the food and often picks at it and finishes it before the actual meal is served.

It is quite amazing at how good we get at taking advantage of the little opportunities that present themselves. It takes a whole lot of effort on your part to get these things done...but the payoff has the potential to be huge!
