professional help
by: Anonymous

have you sought out professional help? qualified occupational therapists can be a wealth of resources and knowledge. i would start there first if you haven't already. i would also get online and search for ideas to help children with those issues in the classroom. there are some helpful books and websites. sounds like you are probably going to have to help educate the teacher and perhaps some of the others at the school as well. we have to advocate for our children until they learn and are capable of doing it themselves. good luck!

here are a couple that i am aware of:

http://sensorysmarts.com/signs_of_spd.html

http://www.modelmekids.com/

and there are many many more. but i would hook up with an ot first if at all possible!
