No Licking...The Floor Is Dirty!!!

by Krystal
(Gladewater, TX)

My two year old son has always had his share of quirks, most recently being his fascination with licking everything. He's been very recently diagnosed with SPD.

Well, one day, he was playing in the kitchen, minding his own business, when my husband and mother-in-law came in. When he realizes nobody is paying attention to him, he drops to the floor and starts licking the kitchen floor. We are all yelling at him to stop, that the floor is dirty and yucky. So then my son gets up, goes to the table, gets a napkin, then goes back to the very spot he was licking before and wipes it off.... then he starts licking it Again!!!

We were laughing so hard at him. Sometimes my silly boy is too smart for his own good.

So glad I am not alone

This made me laugh. My son who is almost 3 licks EVERYTHING; the fridge, screen doors, our car, neighbors cars and the list goes on if you try to stop him he only sneaks to something else to lick. It is refreshing to know that My son is not the only one that licks.

Hysterical - I can totally see it
by: Cecily

Oh my gosh, that's just a riot. My son finds "Ghost Patricks" (like Mirror Patricks, but in windows instead of mirrors) wherever there is a pane of glass, and he licks them. By way of affection, I think. This sometimes means the oven door, which of course is disgusting. No floors yet.

That's Great

I have to say that's really funny. I know how it feels to mouth things. I will almost put anything in my mouth!
