Proprioceptive loss following surgery

In 09 I had both knees replaced following the first surgery there was no problem but after the second surgery I began to have a funny falling sensation were my lower leg would go forward and my upper leg would pitch me backwards to balance out my body wt. As I do manual labor I am concerned about falling on the job or falling going down stairs, a very odd sensation .

I am currently arguing with the insurance co re garding total disability or not as I must balance things in my work and again
I am concerned about falling.

Will my balance return or is it lost?
