Re: Head Banging and Tapping

Hello there,

My DD age 4 does similar things. She sometimes hits herself in the head, taps her fingers on her face or runs her fingers all over her face. She is a sensory seeker. I find if we have a "boring" day at home meaning not enough sensory stuff for her needs at night when she is trying to fall asleep she will do all of those things mentioned above.

We find it exhausting trying to work and fill all her sensory needs. Thank God she started JK this year and it is full time. She loves it!

Cheers!
kim :)
