River Run

by Rhonda
(Corpus Christi, TX)

I am 50 years old now and this sounds so like what I have battled my whole life. I tend to fit more on the Hypo side of your categories but I want to share this. Because of my love for impact I have so many spinal injuries I have developed brittle bone.

I discovered Yoga in January 2007 and am now certified yoga instructor for beginners... and will never go beyond that because for the life of me, I cannot stand on one foot. Thus, learning about propriosity through yoga this is how I stumbled onto your site. The saddest part to my journey here is I have been 20 years through doctors and the best they've come up with is it is surprising how many football injuries this little girl has and anti- depressants are the best thing for me.

It is 2010, and in 2001 I quit the medical field, got off all prescriptions... and began a new journey- and here I am. If you can do nothing else for me, for once in my life I feel normal and I have not even been labeled this-- but you outline my issues and this is my story and I feel better all ready and will continue the good fight.
