I am redoing my sons bedroom he has SPD and autism and I was wondering what colors help calm the most without depressing.

Room color suggestion
by: DJ

It may be different for your son, but I found a nice dark brown helped calm me down and get to sleep at night. It also helped I think because the dark color kind of made the room seem smaller, cozier, and by extension maybe a bit more "secure" feeling. I also use a weighted blanket, so that figured into the equation, too. Hope this helps.
