Sarah, proud Mom of a child with Sensory Intergation Issues

by Sarah
(Texas)

My son is 5 years old. We were on vacation at an upscale hotel eating breakfast in their restaurant. He began spinning as he usually does in restaurants. I told him to stop spinning and sit down so no one would run into him. He stopped, looked directly at me and then all the other people and said, "I have to spin...remember what THERAPY said!"

Everyone in the restaurant shifted from disgust to laughter and seemed to understand.
