Sensitive to touch, and pain of thigh, leg and feets

Can a grown man have sensory processing disorder and if so, what can he use for help, has been told by doctors that he has diabetics and neropothy of the nerves, but he has no comfort in or on his body, he can't sleep nor drive, sitting is a problem, also he has ed dysfunctional , and of side affect to the medication that they have given him. please help.
