SPD International, Administrator

by Michelle Morris
(Florida, USA)

It's very real to me, to my family and to thousands of other families whose children I have seen get better! Children, whose lives were sad, miserable, and frustrating. Some so severe they could not live, learn or love in any sense of the word "normal". And I was fortunate enough to witness and sometimes be a part of what I can only call their recovery. Not a cure maybe, but a recovery to a point where anything may become possible. They can become who they really were all along, hidden under all that dysfunction, until all we can see is a tremendous amount of abilities. And smiles, and laughter and HOPE! Yes, I believe it because I have lived it.
