Spitting NEW

My 3.5 yr old spits a lot too... was thinking it was some sort of tic he can't control. Finally we have an initial diagnosis of oral sensory seeking, amongst several others. We still have to talk to the OT about her initial findings.

my son spits (once he learned to do it after toothbrushing) and lately has been licking his hands. He used to lick playdough incessantly, but seems to be over that.

My 4 year old son also has SPD and spits as well. I am not sure if it is related to the SPD or just acting out? I would sure be interested to know if others have this issue.
