STBX refuses to believe our 2yr old has SPD

(CNY)

Just yesterday my 2.5 yr old was diagnosed with SPD. He's been kicked out of 2 daycares for biting, tackling, tantrums, etc...

He is always seeking out skin to touch & things to put in his mouth. We can't take him to stores or out to eat for fear that something will set him off & he'll have a tantrum. Stbx believes it's just the normal "terrible two's" and that the Early Intervention team that came to do the evaluation yesterday are "full of it"(after asking how much $$ this is going to cost him). They are planning on O.T. 2x a week & a teacher once a week at our home.

How do I get my stbx on board? The social worker said it's very important for us all to be consistent, but the stbx says he's going to refuse that our son get treatment. We have joint legal custody...

I just want my little boy to be able to have a normal life. He has no friends his age because they are all scared of him & he doesn't understand why. He asks to go back to school every morning.

I'm at a lost as to what I can do...
