Stephanie & a sweet loving little boy

by Stephanie Whitt
(GA.)

I went to the Marcus Institute and we packed up and went looking for another DR. I THOUGHT this time the AUTISM Disorder would be diagnosed right. Well wrong again. THE DR. said he CURRENTLY does not meet the criteria for AUTISM. Noah is only 6 years old and the MARCUS Institute GAVE THE DIAGNOSES OF Anxiety/Developmental Coordination Disorder, Sensory Integration Dysfunction & ADHD. I always thought my little boy was different at about 9mo. old and so did the DR.

AT almost 3 years old, I will never forget the time when I walked out of the kitchen & he had lined about 100 TOYS. From little to big and not one of them touched each other. That is when I said the word AUTISM to his DR. I haved studied for 4 years now & PRAY EVERY DAY, however, the DR.S sent us to more DR.s who in turn SENT US TO MORE DR.s.

NOW we need O.T out side of school & even with a referrel to an O.T., NO ONE WILL TAKE WELLCARE which is founded by the Goverment, but I will not give up. To ALL MOMS & DADS do not give up. Life is not AIWAYS what WE Are DIAGNOSED WITH, IT IS PURE LOVE, and OF THE FACTS. It is about that sweet little boy or girl we say "I lOVE YOU" All the time to.

Other sources of help NEW

The shiners and the mason's help a lot more than the critically and deathly ill children. We work the Scottish rite (part of the masons) for low income therapy.

Try going to your local Early childhood intervention program (yes its for 0 to 3) but they know almost everyone that can help depending on your income. and recently coming off of welfare/food stamps I know the income requirements...
