Support Group for Parents

Does anyone know of a network of support groups for parents of children with SPD? Sometimes it's good to have people you can talk to face-to-face who have been in your shoes.

Support Group
by: Cassandra

I agree. A support group would be fantastic. If anyone is interested in the sutherland shire or wollongong area. It would nice to talk to someone who understands this is a real problem and not just a naughty child!

Try SPDSupport.org and SPDFoundation.net
by: Dan Travis

Hi guys. You know, this website here is actually affiliated with its own support group hub? It's true. Formerly, it was SPD Parent SHARE, but it is now known as SPD Support. Find it here:

http://www.spdsupport.org

The SPD Foundation, leaders in SPD research, also have their own outstanding community of parent support groups that also meet face-to-face. You can find their US groups on their website here:

http://spdfoundation.net/us.html

I hope this helps you guys.

I do not know of one but if someone does I'd love to know too. I agree - think this would be a HUGE benefit to so many!
