Teaching at 16 year old with SPD to drive

My 16 year old was diagnosed with SPD 8 years ago. She's done remarkably well, yet we have a new set of challenges as she transitions into adulthood. Has anyone taught their child with SPD to drive or any adults with SPD, what helped you learn to drive?

Hello! I am the mom of a 16 year old SPD child. He is also having difficulties learning how to drive. I noticed you had problems back on 2009 and wanted to know if she learned how to drive and if you have any advice. He is extremely cautious and afraid of taking corner right or left.

To be perfectly honest I learned to drive before I learned I had SPD. I never had any problems with driving as a result of it though (other than the noise of loud vehicles bothers me more than it bothers others, and can be quite painful at times). Are there any specific problems she has with it?
