Therapressure brush for Wilbarger DPPT protocol

by Lauri
(Olean, NY)

I just read the SPD Companion issue #21 and checked out the new brush that is being recommended for the Wilbarger DPPT protocol. I clicked on the link to see the new brush and noticed it is more expensive than the old brush. My question is ... Is this brush the only brush to be used with the protocol or is the old brush still acceptable?

The SPD Help Line Answers

From what I understand Lauri, you can still use the old brush if that is what you have. When it is time to replace it, if you need another one, I would get the new brush. It isn't but a few dollars more. So, I would get the newer one when/if you can... it is a better design (with rounded shape for better even pressure), but I believe the "bristles" are similar to the old one.

If anyone knows any different, please let us know!

therapressure brush
by: Lauri

I did purchase the newly recommended therapressure brush. The bristles are very similar. The new brush has a larger surface area and the built in handle makes it easier to grip - no more falling out of your hand while performing the technique. I definitely prefer it to the old brush, although it is more costly.
