Weight parameters for vests/ blankets

Does anyone know the weight parameters for weighted blankets and weighted vests (like what percent of child's body weight the item should weigh?) I have heard a few different things from different people. Thank you!

Vests - 5% of the child's body weight
Blankets - 10% plus 1 lb.
