What to do?

by Maureen
(Loveland, CO USA)

My 3 year old has many symptoms of SPD, she currently receives speech therapy in the Head Start Program in the local school district. I have had trouble since she was an infant with crying and fits, that just don't make sense. As an infant her doctor said it was colic, now they say she's just a 3 year old. But I have worked with children in Day Cares and I teach swim lessons to young children, I understand that she is "off" from the rest of them. She is a spunky little girl but can flip quickly. I've tried talking with the OT at her school and her Pediatrician, both have basically blown me off. I am very frustrated and am not sure where to turn next. If anyone has ideas, please leave them for me. Thank you so much!
