Diagnosing this disorder?

I am not sure how to ask/start... How do you start determining if your child has SPD? Some signs are there but not all?

Hello,

I agree with Lynne... my daughter did not have all the signs either... the only SPD she has is with clothes... other than that there are no other problems... my advice would be... my daughter is 4 years old... and even though I love her doctor... he kept insisting... it could be her age....why she was having "Major Issue's" with clothes...

As a mom you have a intuition about your child.. if you really feel something isn't right... then push the issue... after I pushed the issue... Her doctor stated hey no one knows a child better than the mom...

I would start with filling out the symptoms checklist and taking it to your doctor and get a referral to seen an O.T. That is what I did. Good luck!!!
