Me on the left my Sis on the right :)

I am a 32 year old who has been dealing with sensitivity issues for as long as I could remember.

Many people around me always said or say "you are TOO sensitive!"

I was always fearful of them and very self conscious do to that.

This week has been very tough for me, and when I couldn't sleep I went on my computer. While in my Facebook home page a girl requested me as a friend, she has a radio show about healthy living and I took a peek. I love reading about health :) While there I saw a book called Sensitive Sam, and checked it out....that is where stumbled upon this site. THANK GOODNESS!!!

It was 6:45am this morning, and I ran upstairs to tell my Fiance. I was so relieved just to see that I am not alone. 33 years of this, and nobody even knew how I felt or they just blew it off, because it was so unheard of.

Since 80% of the hyper-sensitive symptoms matched mine what would the diet consist of?
Thank you so very much!!

I finally know what's going on

What a blessing that you stumbled onto this site.

I hope you now will feel that there are so many other adults and children who have sensory issues. As a mom of a 6 year old with SPD I have been doing alot of reading on this subject. 2 wonderful books are "Out of Sync" and "The Sensory Sensitive Child". Granted these are books for adults to read regarding children, you may be able to recognize yourself in the stories and understand it a little more.

Best of luck to you and your fiance.
