Is SPD real?

by Jessica Monique Richmond

Sensory processing disorder is a controversial topic that many have a difference of opinion concerning. Individuals all over are truly concerned about the condition of their children, especially the boys.

SPD is an authentic diagnosis for children who stand in need of real professional assistance, guidance, and direction. Also the sensory processing disorder can be overly used and misdiagnosis. Based upon some behavior of children are to be thought of as normal and not an indication of SPD.

I believe that there's developmental and behavioral issues among children and it continues to increase daily. Some SPD's that are widely known are autism and ADHD. I personally believe based up research, various articles, and scientific facts SPD is certainly something to be proven real.

Because I have experience children closely from family and friends that suffer from SPD, my personal testimony of this further confirms the certainty of this disorder.

Another Diagnosis without Treatment
by: Anonymous

This may be a real thing but what am I at 63yrs going to do about it? Lets get real: treatment for any psychological problem is near impossible to find, never mind the right therapist, affordability, etc. We are a world that doesn't invest in Life. It will only get worse. The family was the first to go. Both parents working outside the home means children left to their own devices. Liberation proved to be imprisonment. So many problems-everyone a mental case. Solutions?
