My son has major symptoms of SID and I was wondering can a child only have SID or is this a symptom of ADHD or autism?

My son is the same. So is my 9 year old daughter too actually. From what I have found on the internet through sites like this and others (and books) a child can have only SPD. I never pursued any therapy with my daughter because back then it was really new and I only heard about it in children that also had a diagnosis of autism. My son's symptoms are much more intense then hers were at the same age. I found the courage to ask our pediatrician and she agreed and recommended occupational therapy.

Hello. i don't know much bout SID but autism can manifest on sensory disorders. saw that on my son. try to have your child evaluated first by a devtal. pedia. goodluck!
