DILLAN

My son who is 3 has been diagnosed as having SPD. He doesn't eat so he is fed via a gastronomy. As of yet he hasn't started talking. He loves to spin things and himself. He puts his hands on hot things pulls away because it hurts but then returns to do it all over again time after time.

He's under 10 different doctors etc and has taken a year to get a diagnosis though no one has said exactly what SPD is. His latest is to climb on top of things like window sills and furniture and jump off. When he hurts himself he can't tell where the pain is coming from and so he just holds his head until you find where he's hurt himself.
