Mother of Autisic Child of 2

Hi

My little boy was diagnosed with ASD this year, Ive been reading with great interest. Whether its recognized or not all the symptoms are real and in my opinion alot of my sons symptoms led to his diagnoses, so its confusing to know now its autism or SPD. Would it be possible down the line that because of the close connection would it be part of the ASD?

by: Anonymous

Hi Mom of autistic child of 2,

My son is 10 yrs old. His symptoms it seems has gotten worse as hes gotten older. he has auditory issues that have greatly impacted his learning. Yes i think autism and SPD are intimately intertwined! Hang in there!
