Child Refusing to Leave Shoes On

I am an intervention specialist of children with multiple disabilities. I have one student (age 7, almost 8) who REFUSES to wear shoes. She hasn't been diagnosed with any sort of SPD, but I'm wondering if that's what she has. She won't wear her glasses, her shoes, or her socks. Last year she also constantly took off her shirt, but since Mom has made her keep her clothes on at home she hasn't done that this year. She is nonverbal so she can't give me a reason why she takes them off.

They fit fine, but every time she sits down she pulls them off her feet. I don't know if it's a behavior thing, a sensory thing, or what. Anyone have any ideas, either to encourage her to keep them on or as to why she takes them off?
