I have an 8 year old grandson that I'm very concerned about. When he eats or drinks, even though he is encouraged to use eating utensils, he eats all food with his hands. When drinking juice, kool-aid, or soda, he takes a tip, puts a finger over his mouth, and appears to spit it out and sucks it back in! This is done with each sip and my husband and I are quite puzzled.

His parents will be taking him to a Psychologist for making noises in the classroom but I fear that the root cause may not be discovered. This little boy is sweet and loving but I foresee tremendous trouble ahead.

Can anyone give me a clue to his problems?
