Hypersensitivity and hyposensitivity simultaneously?

My child's doctor suggested that my daughter may have sensory disorder. In doing research I found your checklist; however, I am finding that my daughter has several things from opposite categories. For instance, she hates to be held, has serious food texture issues and is very ticklish, but she also hits other people and doesn't even blink when she gets a shot. Does it make sense that she could be on both sides of the spectrum or should I start considering something else?
