My daughter is now 5 years old. I've been concerned about her development for years and have continuously spoken to her doctors about it, but have been dismissed until the latest doctor suggested looking into SPD and I am astonished by how many of the symptoms/markers that fit my daughter exactly. I believe we may have a diagnosis finally and a way to get her therapy to improve it. I am hoping they will believe us now an we can get her settled before school becomes difficult for her.
