My 6 yr old daughter says she hears sirens going off in her ears?

My daughter occasionally has said to me and her teacher that she hears a siren going off in her ears. Like a ringing or buzzing sometimes then goes away. She does not like loud noises especially sirens, alarms, buzzers, etc. is this a sensory issue?
