Nose sniffing

Our daughter is constantly sucking air in through her nose.




It's like her nose is constantly stuffy or runny, but it's not. The constant snorting is annoying. Anyone have any recommendations?

It sounds like a transient tic disorder. One of my children sniffed, one blinked, one cleared his throats and all of them don't do those things now.

Somewhere around school age, some kids are prone to tics. I have a niece with Tourette's (you wouldn't even know).

I stressed about all of them so much!! It turned out to not be a big deal. Even for my niece. She takes a small amount of blood pressure medicine (chlonodine) and Lhasa no tics.

Wish I had helpful advise for you. We are in the same boat. She doesn't actually have a stuffy or runny nose but keeps sucking air in and its LOUD! Good luck!
