I have always practiced that weighted vests can only be worn for brief periods of time (a couple hours) because they may have a rebound effect if worn all day. (This is also with the parameters that weight should only be 10-15% of child's weight).
Is this still correct? and if so what about weighted blankets, lap pads, neck wraps? As these are more easily managed off by the child I have been less strict with their use. What is the consensus on this?
